Mark Canzonetta, Chef & Restaurateur, began his love affair with food and cooking at the age of 11 after watching Julia Child on PBS. Mark soon was catering lunches and dinners to his neighbors in Warren, Ohio. Mark gained a profound appreciation for cooking from his immigrant great grandparents & grandparents and the loving family lifestyle associated with it. In 1988, Mark launched his culinary career with the opening of Pesto’s East Market Street Cafe, his first restaurant based in his hometown of Warren, Ohio. Since then he has gone on to be Chef to Guy Fieri, design food products for celebrity chefs & open more than 30 restaurant projects across the country, including Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho, Guy’s Burger & BBQ Joints + Boardman Ohio’s own OSTERIA AQUA PAZZO. Mark has had the honor of cooking for the President of the United States, Food Network Celebrity Chefs, Professional Sports Stars & famed Musicians. Mark resides in Warren, Ohio with his loving wife Melissa and daughters Amy & Gina, and his step-daughters Adrianna & Bentlea.
Alan graduated Poland High School and went to Youngstown State University to study business and hospitality management. After two years Alan quickly came to the realization that his passion was Culinary Arts, and he soon enrolled at Le Cordon Blue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he graduated with an AOS in Culinary Arts & Fine Dining. Pursuing his career he then moved to Asheville, North Carolina to work at the prestigious Biltmore Estate where he complete a roundsman apprenticeship. After his apprenticeship, he moved back to the Mahoning Valley to learn the catering industry.. Alan has worked as Sous Chef at many Valley restaurants including the Culinary Arts Restaurant and as Mark Canzonetta’s sous chef at Osteria Aqua Pazzo.
After graduating from Howland High School in 1989, Jeff received his education from Hocking College where he received a AOS split degree in Culinary & Hotel/Motel Restaurant Management with honors. Jeff started his career with Perkins Restaurants, and over the next 20 years Jeff had the pleasure of working with area chefs, such as Tony Sacchetti, Chookie Alberini & Mark Canzonetta, learning creative techniques and styles of cooking. Jeff crafted his own unique culinary style at Luva Bella winery where he was executive chef and general manager. Jeff excelled at pairing his cuisine with the wine produced at Luva Bella. Jeff’s true passion is his work with Akron Children’s Hospital planning events & fundraising for children.
